This device measures the heart rate by means of an ear clip; it displays this measured heart rate on its integrated display and sends it by wireless transmission to the dashboard of daum training devices.

It eliminates the need to wear a chest belt. The measure of the heart rate is effected by means of an ear clip that illuminates the ear lobe with an infrared light. Heart pulses modulate the infrared light. This modulation is detected by a sensor, displayed as heart rate, and sent to daum training devices by wireless transmission.
